WebTracker
A powerful tool for secure patient data management
WebTracker is a powerful, data management tool designed to enable hemophilia treatment centers to record data once and reuse it over and over again for care, clinic management, research and reporting to federal/state agencies. The new software also allows for patients who choose to participate in the ATHNdataset to share a limited amount of non-identifiable data related to their care with ATHN. The ATHNdataset will facilitate research to help improve care and support advocacy efforts on behalf of patients with bleeding and clotting disorders. Data can also be easily exported to fulfill UDC surveillance and MCHB reporting requirements.
Unique ID elements for tracking patient care
A new feature in WebTracker is the unique identifiers generator (UID), which will enhance the treatment center’s ability to manage patients that receive care at more than one treatment center. A UID for each patient will be automatically generated during the data migration process to WebTracker and will be dependent on a number of data elements.
To ensure oversight, each treatment center will be required to designate a Primary WebTracker Administrator. The Administrator’s primary responsibilities are to prepare treatment center data for migration to WebTracker and serve as a liaison and communications gatekeeper with ATHN and supporting technology partners. In addition, the WebTracker Administrator will develop and maintain a master directory of treatment center staff authorized to access WebTracker, and assign appropriate access levels.
